How to install downloaded word press themes?

When i asked that someone gave me the link of a tutorial that was very good but i don’t have the functions that the tutorial showed.For example i don’t have “Add new themes” and “install themes” and i really don’t understand why.I saw there’s “Edit CSS” too but when i try to add a theme it’s not complete and i see just a part of the theme.I am losing my patience..can someone please explain me how to do it?

You can upload the theme directory via FTP to this directory /wp-content/themes

Once it is uploaded, go to your wordpress admin. Under the Appearance menu, there is a link called Themes. Click that and then click to activate the theme you want to display.
